Great Things

Well this was my first official week of my High School Senior year. And I must say that it certainly is great. School is alright. I am taking some interesting classes this year, and most of them I am excited for. I am taking Seminary, Calculus, Government & World Civilization, Nutrition, Intro to Literature, and Human Development Through the Life Span. The last two classes being at the college. Well anyways, back to the title of the post, I have officially discovered three great things this past week.

1-Concurrent Enrollment = Taking classes at the college while still in high school is perhaps the greatest thing ever! I am taking four classes at the high school and the rest are at the college. My whole afternoon is devoted to college classes, which I only have on Mondays and Wednesdays. So pretty much, I get out of school on the other three days at 12:00. (Technically at 11:30, but there is lunch then and Mom says I need the "social time")
2-Heating Pads = This past week, I have been having some pains throughout my body, which I blame school stress for, but I just plop the heat on the painful area, and BAM!! I feel much better.
3-Banana Flavored Icee = I don't know if most of you know, but i LOVE Icees! Yesterday I just felt like I wanted something cold and delicious, so I decided to make a pit stop at Maverik and get an Icee. To my surprise, however, there was not a blue raspberry Icee or even a cherry Icee. There was a banana Icee! I know that sounds interesting but honestly, it is perhaps one of the greatest things I have ever discovered! I love them! In fact...I just might go and get another one today! Yay! :D

So there you have it! The three greatest things of the week! (thus the name of the post ;D) And know that it is because of Concurrent Enrollment that I am home writing this at the current time. I am NOT sluffing school. And that is just so that I do not get fifty phone calls from everyone making sure I am doing the "right thing".

Looking Back at Prom

Well it has come to my attention by certain family members said that I needed to put my Prom pictures on our blog for you all to enjoy. So here they are. Now keep in mind, as you are watching this video, that most of these pictures were taken when I wasn't looking and so I probably looking pretty retarded. But just pass by those pictures and memories as you think of me. Think of the good things that I have done. Like all of the times that I come and visit everyone! :D

But anyways, enjoy the video. By the way, I had a blast at Prom! My date's name was Andrew Bates, and for everyone asking, he IS slightly taller than me. So I believe that I did accomplish something there! So right before we went to the actual Prom, we had dinner at the church, which was delicious, and after Prom, we went to one of the guy's house and played Apples to Apples and ate cheesecake! It was sooo yummy!

Grandma's Camp Review

Well this is an amazing video of photos that Mom took of her week with th grandchildren. The five oldest grandchildren attended, as Mom will not let any child who is not potty-trained come to Grandma's Camp. However, even without the excitement of the two 1-year olds, the kids and Mom had a great week and loved every minute of it. I do not know the full extend of what took place during the week, since I was not in attendance, but I do know that they went swimming, made pedigree charts out of cookies(!), decorated a flag, did multiple crafts, also decorated mugs, and ate lots of popcicles! Woo! They also went down to Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's in Beaver, and Grandma Blackburn's in Minersville. There, they played nightgames and got to spend quality time with their great and great-great grandparents. But if you would like full details of the week, please contact Mom! Enjoy the video!

Finally...

Well the King Family Blog is finally in order thanks to my dear sister Mikelle. Apparently creating this whole blog thing is a lot harder than expected. It didn't exactly help where I am pretty much incapable of figuring out anything that has to do with technology. Anyways, now that our blog is up and running, we will be doing our best ('our' meaning Mom and I) to keep up with this, although I cannot make any promises. Our family tends to get a little busy when the school years starts and that happens in about a week. So if you could be somewhat patient with us, it would be much appreciated.
